I’m personally thinking of a Modern Infect storm build that made the rounds a while ago, playing off of tutoring up Venerated Rotpriests to the field as quickly as possible and then hitting them with as many Ground Rifts as possible

Having the guaranteed option to Blight each turn is useful, but having to apply -2/-2 each time to a creature isn't ideal unless you have a way of building creatures back up or excess life points to drain
